I haven't posted a journal in a while, but I am still alive.
It's been a bit of a nutty year, but very enjoyable all the same.
How many of my watchers are actually still active...? I actually feel kind of old now.
I haven't gone back to Leeds yet, just relaxing in Bath while it's quiet. And by quiet I mean dead-from-the-neck-up quiet.

Bath Time

I moved to Bath (about 220 miles away) for university, and I've been living here for exactly a week now, though I only just found the time to write a journal entry about it.
I'm doing creative writing and visual art in university, and photography on the side. I start actually my courses on Monday, this week has just been full of introductions and whatnot. It's pretty exciting!
Haha, I would like some more friends, everyone should come and visit me or come to uni here!
So yeah, uni life is great so far. I probably won't be making much more folky music because I'm not singing in front of room mates.
On the other hand, uploaded art shall be a-plenty, hopefully!

I hope you guys that follow me don't mind me using the DA journal for my musical endeavours, linking my art stuff just seems like the best way to go about things.
Anyway, I made a new folk song called "Fall in Love (!)".
I had this pretentious concept where I make two songs called "Fall in Love" but one is an electronic song and the other is a folk song. They sound nothing like eachother, the only link is the title. You could say that they're linked by interpretation of the phrase.
Anyway, I hope you like it. I'd recommend listening to the one on Bandcamp, it's higher quality, and you can download it if you want. Also, on there, I've put the electronic stuff in one album and folk in the other.
Also, I uploaded a new (arguably less suave) ID because I didn't want the mirror photo there any longer. And a webcam picture, because I'm trying to get more involved in the DA community.

Hello all, a new journal entry.
It's actually pretty close to the last one too.
Today, I got my A-level results (I apologize if you have a flood of journal entries about this). Looks like I'm going to do art and creative writing in university! I got a B in English, and a C in art, which isn't amazing, but whatever. I got a D in photography though. A D?!! I worked really hard! I am refraining from littering my journal entry with swear words as it would unprofessional. Idiot moron.
But I suppose that doesn't matter, because I still got into uni. I'm going to Bath Spa University. I'm not sure what kind of art I'll be doing there, but I will keep this up to date!

Crane// Of the Sunshine

Greetings to whomever this may concern. It is perfectly true that I have not posted a single journal since January last year. No, no, don't try to console me about it, I admit it and I will be seeing Journalphobias anonymous soon.
Anyway, enough of that.
The past couple of years I have been doing my A-levels at sixth form, studying english, art, photography and ICT. This is my final year, then I will be shipping off to university, where I don't know what to do yet at the point of writing this journal, but it is between journalism, and Art & Creative writing.
So like, I've been posting photography lately. I made a mental note to myself years ago, when I made this account in '05 (Ah, back in the days...) that I wouldn't upload photography. Why? Who knows!
But alas, I have been doing it anyway lately.
I only started getting into photography in September. Before then, I just took pictures of abandoned buildings from -incredibly- dramatic angles. I know, it's mind-bogglingly technical.
But yeah, I only started taking photography seriously since September, because I picked it up as a subject to do for one year. The thing is, when it was my turn to pick the subjects I wanted to do for two years, it was ominously missing from the list, but it came up on the list this year, so I decided to do it for just one year. But it's a shame. I am really starting to enjoy photography, and it's diversifying my gallery.
And I'm not saying I'm going to stop doing photography, no matter what I pick at university. I just won't be taking classes for it anymore.
I'm not stopping drawing either. It's just that a lot of my work is at sixth form, and I haven't done anything at home for fun in ages. I just wanted my gallery's repertoire to expand, and it looks like it's becoming more popular than my drawings already.
- But just out of curiosity, to those who read this journal, which do people prefer from me?
Anyway, this journal is too long. No-one is going to read all of this. I'm not even sure who my audience is! But yeah.
